Açaí is a berry that grows on an açaí palm tree. The açaí berry is exclusively found in the Amazon Rain Forest in Brazil. Beyond the humid subtropical climate, the Amazon is known to have the richest soil on earth which allows the açaí palm to thrive. The açaí berry itself is 95% seed.
